Affiliate disclosure

Last updated: October 19, 2026

GoldexPay is free to use. To keep it that way, we earn money through affiliate commissions. On this page we explain what that means, how it works and how we make sure it does not affect the comparison you see.

What is an affiliate commission?

Many of the providers we list – money transfer services, crypto exchanges and precious metal dealers – run an affiliate programme. When you click a link on GoldexPay to a provider and then, for example, open an account or complete a transaction, the provider may pay us a commission. You do not pay anything extra for this: the price you get from the provider is the same as when you visit its website directly.

How our links work

Links to providers go through a redirect on our own domain, in the form /go/{provider}. When you click such a link, we record the click before sending you on to the provider. We log:

  • the provider you clicked on;
  • the currencies or assets and the amount entered in the calculator;
  • the language and page you clicked from;
  • a random click ID, which we pass to the affiliate network so that a commission can be matched to a click;
  • a hashed (SHA-256) version of your IP address, salted with a secret value and the date, so it changes daily and your actual IP address is not stored;
  • your browser's user agent and the referring page.

We use this information to settle commissions with affiliate networks and to detect fraud. We keep click logs for 24 months. More information can be found in our privacy policy.

Commission never influences the ranking

Results are always sorted by the amount you receive, highest first. How much commission a provider pays – or whether it pays any at all for a particular transaction – plays no role in that order. Our calculation method is fully described on the How we compare page.

Featured providers

We may mark certain providers as "Featured". A Featured provider is shown at the top of the results, above the regular ranking. This position can be the result of a commercial agreement. To make sure you are never misled, every Featured listing carries a clearly visible "Featured" label. The ranking below the Featured listings is always based purely on the amount you receive.

Which providers we list

We currently only list providers that run an affiliate programme. Providers must also be regulated or registered where applicable and available to consumers in the EU. This means our comparison does not cover every provider on the market. A provider that is not listed may offer a better deal for your situation.

Editorial content

Our Stories and Knowledge base articles are written for information purposes. They may contain links to providers, which can also be affiliate links. Commercial relationships do not determine what we write, and our articles are never personal financial advice. See our disclaimer.
