These terms of use apply to every visit to and every use of the GoldexPay website. By using the website, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

1. About us

The website goldexpay.com ("GoldexPay", "we", "us") is operated by Goldexpay, Gorterplaats 26a-8, 6531 HZ Nijmegen, the Netherlands. You can reach us at [email protected].

2. Our service

GoldexPay is an independent comparison website. We show you an indication of what you receive when you exchange currencies, cryptocurrencies or precious metals (such as gold, silver and platinum) with third-party providers. We also publish informational content in our Stories and Knowledge base.

GoldexPay:

  • does not exchange money, cryptocurrencies or precious metals;
  • does not hold or manage funds on your behalf;
  • is not a bank, broker, exchange or payment institution;
  • does not provide financial, investment, tax or legal advice.

If you decide to use a provider, you enter into an agreement directly with that provider, under its own terms and conditions. GoldexPay is not a party to that agreement.

3. Use of the website

You may use the website free of charge for personal, non-commercial purposes. When using the website, you agree not to:

  • use the website in a way that breaches the law or the rights of others;
  • systematically scrape, copy or extract data from the website (including rates, fees and comparison results) with automated tools, unless we have given written permission;
  • disrupt, overload or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its servers or the admin area;
  • generate artificial clicks on provider links or otherwise manipulate our affiliate links;
  • present the website or its content as your own, or suggest an affiliation with GoldexPay that does not exist.

We may block access to the website if we suspect misuse.

4. Comparison results and information

We do our best to keep the information on GoldexPay accurate and up to date. Our calculation method is described on the How we compare page. However:

  • all rates and results are indicative. Mid-market rates are refreshed every 30 minutes and fee data is checked periodically, but may be outdated;
  • the provider's final quote always prevails;
  • weekend surcharges, payment-method fees, account conditions and promotions may not be reflected;
  • our comparison does not cover the entire market. We currently only list providers that run an affiliate programme.

5. Affiliate links and ranking

GoldexPay earns commission from some providers when you click through to their website and, for example, open an account or complete a transaction. Results are sorted by the amount you receive, highest first; commission does not influence that order. Providers marked as "Featured" are shown first and always carry a visible "Featured" label. 6. Third-party websites

The website contains links to websites of providers and other third parties. We have no control over these websites and are not responsible for their content, availability, products, services or privacy practices. Your use of those websites is at your own risk and subject to their terms.

7. Editorial content

Our Stories and Knowledge base articles are general and informational in nature. They do not take your personal situation into account and are not advice. Decisions you make based on this content are your own responsibility.

8. Intellectual property

All content on the website – including texts, design, logos, software, databases and the selection and arrangement of data – is protected by intellectual property rights belonging to us or our licensors. You may view the content and share links to it. Any other reproduction, publication or commercial use requires our prior written permission. Names and logos of providers belong to their respective owners and are used only to identify them.

9. Availability

We aim to keep the website available at all times, but cannot guarantee that it will be free of interruptions or errors. We may change, suspend or discontinue (parts of) the website at any time, without notice.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law:

  • we are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from the use of, or inability to use, the website, or from relying on information, rates or comparison results shown on it;
  • we are not liable for the acts, omissions, products or services of providers or other third parties, including transactions you make with them;
  • we are not liable for indirect damage, consequential loss, lost profit or lost savings;
  • we are not liable for losses resulting from price movements of currencies, cryptocurrencies or precious metals.

Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, such as liability for intent or gross negligence, or your rights as a consumer under mandatory law.

11. Privacy

How we handle personal data is described in our privacy policy and cookie policy.

12. Changes to these terms

We may change these terms from time to time. The most recent version is always published on this page, with the date it was last updated. If you continue to use the website after a change, the new terms apply.

13. Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Nijmegen, the Netherlands, unless mandatory law provides otherwise. If you are a consumer, you retain the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence and may also be able to bring a dispute before the court of your place of residence.

14. Other provisions

If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. In that case, the invalid provision will be replaced by a valid provision that comes as close as possible to its original purpose.
