Euro to Litecoin: what you are looking at
This page tracks the rate for Euro (EUR) and Litecoin (LTC) and sets it next to what real providers charge to convert one into the other. On October 30, 2026, 1 EUR buys 0.020270 LTC, while a single LTC comes to 49.3344 EUR.
The figure at the top is the interbank mid rate. It is the midpoint between what wholesale traders pay for EUR and what they ask for it. Think of it as a fair reference point: nobody earns anything on it directly, so you rarely get it as a private customer.
The amount that lands in the other account is shaped by two things: a markup hidden in the exchange rate and any fixed or percentage fee. In the sections below we show how those costs are built up, show how they add up on a real amount and list practical steps to keep more of your money when you change EUR into LTC.
Exchange rate markup and fees on EUR/LTC
Most providers do not convert at the mid-market rate itself. Instead they offer a rate that is a little less favourable and pocket the gap. People call this the exchange rate margin. If the margin is 2%, then for every 100 EUR you convert, about 2 EUR worth disappears before the money arrives.
Besides the hidden margin, a lot of services ask for a separate fee. This is usually a flat charge per payment, a share of what you send or a mix of both. On classic bank transfers abroad other banks along the route may take their own cut, so the recipient gets less than you expected.
Be wary of anything sold as commission-free. In many cases the margin in the rate simply does the work of the fee. What really counts is the total amount that arrives in LTC for the same amount of EUR, and that is the figure our table ranks on.
Buying or selling crypto: EUR to LTC
Crypto prices differ from platform to platform. On a trading platform, you deal with a spread between the highest bid and the lowest ask, plus a trading fee. Simple broker apps often show one price that has the cost baked in.
If you withdraw coins to a wallet, there is a separate network charge. It is unrelated to how much you move, which makes small withdrawals relatively expensive. Make sure the sending and receiving side use the same network: coins sent over the wrong network can be lost.
Volatility is much higher than with regular currencies. A quote is often only valid for a short moment, and big orders can fill at a worse price than shown. Use the rate here as a guide, not as a binding quote.
Also decide who holds the keys. If you leave crypto on a platform, the platform controls it, while in your own wallet you are fully responsible for the keys. Check that a platform is registered or licensed with a financial regulator where you live.
Larger transfers: what to check first
Make sure the provider is licensed. Look for authorisation from the FCA in the UK or the financial regulator in your own country. Regulated firms have to safeguard client funds and that offers protection if the company fails.
Check names and account details twice. Once money has left, getting it back is difficult. Watch out for pressure, urgency or a last-minute change of account details. Call to confirm, using contact details you already had.
Big sums usually trigger extra verification. Providers may ask for proof of where the money comes from, such as a payslip, sale agreement or bank statement. Some providers lower their margin on request for larger customers. Some also let you lock in a rate for a short period.
Euro against Litecoin: the last twelve months
Compared with a year ago, the price of EUR in LTC shows a change of +73.11%. During that year the highest level was 0.028026 LTC for one EUR, and the bottom of the range was 0.010503. At 0.020270, the rate today sits somewhere inside that range.
The spread between the year’s extremes puts the movement into real terms. When you convert a substantial sum, the moment you choose can make a noticeable difference to what arrives, even when the fee stays the same.
Exchange rates respond to interest rate decisions, inflation figures, trade flows and general market sentiment. The statistics here are historical, not a forecast. If you want to act on a certain rate, it is more practical to set an alert than to guess.
Paying less when you change EUR into LTC
Compare the total cost, not the fee alone. A provider with a low fee can still be expensive because the margin can make up the difference. The fairest figure to compare is the LTC amount after every cost, and that already includes both margin and fee.
When you pay by card abroad, a terminal may offer to charge you in your home currency. The trade name for this is dynamic currency conversion. The rate used is usually poor. Always opt to pay in the local currency and let your own card provider do the conversion.
Timing plays a role too. At weekends, with the wholesale market shut, some services add an extra buffer to the rate. When there is no deadline, a rate alert or limit order lets you convert automatically once EUR/LTC reaches a level you choose. It saves you from checking the rate every day, though the target may never be reached.
The payment method matters as well. Card payments often cost more than a bank transfer, and a plain bank transfer is normally the low-cost option. Combining several small payments into one larger transfer also cuts the impact of fixed fees.
Example: converting 1,000.00 EUR
Let’s use an amount of 1,000.00 EUR. Converted at the pure mid-market rate (0.020270), that marks the theoretical maximum of what any provider could deliver in LTC. In reality every provider keeps something, as costs are deducted somewhere in the process.
Across the 21 providers in our comparison, Crypto.com gave the best result and paid out 20.2445 LTC in the end. The gap between 20.2445 LTC and the theoretical maximum is the real price of the transfer.
Note that the cheapest provider for 1,000.00 EUR is not automatically the cheapest for every amount. Fixed fees weigh heavily on small sums, while a percentage margin grows along with the amount. Enter your own amount in the converter for a ranking that fits your situation.
How we rank providers for EUR to LTC
Every calculation begins with the mid-market rate of 0.020270. We then apply each provider’s published fees and exchange rate margin, to calculate what actually arrives in LTC. The comparison covers 21 providers, ranked from most to least received.
The figures refresh every half hour, and the date on the page shows when the data was last updated. Always check the final quote in the provider’s app or website, since markets keep moving, especially when markets are busy.
No bank, app or exchange owns GoldexPay. We may earn a commission through some links, which help fund our work. The order is never affected by them: the provider that delivers the most LTC comes first, whether or not we have a link to it.
