The EUR/XRP exchange rate at a glance
This page brings together the price relationship between Euro (EUR) and XRP (XRP) and sets it next to what real providers charge to convert one into the other. At the latest update on October 30, 2026, 1 EUR equals 0.893451 XRP, while 1 XRP equals 1.1193 EUR.
The figure at the top is the mid-market rate, sometimes called the interbank rate. It is calculated as the middle of the price at which large banks buy EUR and the price at which they sell it. It works as the cleanest reference you can get: no fee or margin is built in, and that is why you rarely get it as a private customer.
What ends up on the XRP side depends on two separate costs: the gap between the provider’s rate and the mid-market rate and the visible transfer or service fee. Further down we take those costs apart, put them side by side and give concrete ways to lose less on the exchange when you change EUR into XRP.
Before you send: security and large amounts
Make sure the provider is licensed. In the UK that means authorisation by the FCA, elsewhere a central bank or financial supervisor. Regulation includes rules on keeping your money apart from the company’s own.
Double-check the recipient details before you confirm. An international payment is hard to reverse once it is sent. Be suspicious if someone urges you to pay quickly or suddenly changes bank details: confirm by phone using a number you already know.
Larger transfers often come with additional questions. Have documents ready that show where the money came from, for example a contract of sale or an account statement. Some services offer better rates or a personal contact for larger transfers. Some also let you lock in a rate for a short period.
How to get a better EUR to XRP rate
Look at the final amount, not just the fee. A provider with a low fee can still be expensive because the margin can make up the difference. The number that matters is the XRP amount after every cost, and that already includes both the markup and the fee.
At foreign tills and cash machines, a terminal may offer to charge you in your home currency. The trade name for this is dynamic currency conversion. The rate used is usually poor. Choose the local currency and let your own card provider do the conversion.
Timing plays a role too. Some providers widen their margin at weekends, when currency markets are closed. If you are not in a hurry, you can set a target rate and let the provider convert only when it is reached. It takes the guesswork out, but there is no guarantee the rate will get there.
The payment method matters as well. A credit card may be treated as a cash advance by your card issuer, while a regular bank transfer to the provider is usually the cheapest way in. Bundling smaller transfers also cuts the impact of fixed fees.
Buying or selling crypto: EUR to XRP
Crypto prices differ from platform to platform. On an exchange with an order book, you deal with a spread between the highest bid and the lowest ask, plus a trading fee. Simple broker apps often show one price with the margin already included.
Withdrawing crypto from a platform, a network fee applies. It is often a fixed amount regardless of the size of the transfer, so it weighs more on small transactions. Make sure the sending and receiving side use the same network: mistakes here are rarely reversible.
The price of a crypto asset can swing hard in a short time. A displayed price may be fixed only for a few seconds, and big orders can fill at a worse price than shown. Treat the figure above as an indication.
Think about custody as well. On a platform, someone else manages the private keys, whereas a personal wallet puts the responsibility, and the risk of losing access, on you. Use platforms that are registered with the regulator in your country.
What 1,000.00 EUR gets you in XRP
Take a conversion of 1,000.00 EUR. Converted at the pure mid-market rate (0.893451), that sum sets the ceiling for what any provider could deliver in XRP. In practice nobody hands over that full amount, as costs are deducted somewhere in the process.
Across the 21 providers in our comparison, Crypto.com delivered the most, with 892.3350 XRP after all costs. The gap between 892.3350 XRP and the theoretical maximum is the real price of the transfer.
Bear in mind that the cheapest provider for 1,000.00 EUR is not automatically the cheapest for every amount. Fixed fees weigh heavily on small sums, while the margin in the rate becomes the bigger cost on larger transfers. Enter your own amount in the converter for a ranking that fits your situation.
How we rank providers for EUR to XRP
We start from the live mid-market rate for EUR/XRP. We then apply each provider’s published fees and exchange rate margin, and work out how much XRP the recipient would end up with. In total 21 providers are included, placed side by side.
We update the rates every 30 minutes, so the page reflects the market of October 30, 2026. Providers confirm their own price at checkout, since markets keep moving, especially when markets are busy.
No bank, app or exchange owns GoldexPay. We may earn a commission through some links, which help pay for the site. They have no influence on the order: the only ranking criterion is the amount received.
Mid-market rate versus the rate you get
Most providers will not give you the mid-market rate itself. Instead they quote a slightly worse rate and earn on the difference. People call this the markup. With a 2% markup, for instance, about 2 out of every 100 EUR never reach the recipient.
Next to that markup, most banks charge an explicit fee. That can be a fixed amount per transfer, a share of what you send or a mix of both. On classic bank transfers abroad other banks along the route may take their own cut, so the recipient gets less than you expected.
Take a close look at offers that say "no fees" or "0% commission". In many cases the margin in the rate simply does the work of the fee. The reliable test is the final XRP figure for the same amount of EUR, which is how the table above is sorted.
One year of EUR to XRP
Over the past twelve months, the EUR/XRP rate shows a change of +97.20%. Within those twelve months the highest level was 1.1669 XRP for one EUR, while the lowest was 0.453060. At 0.893451, the rate today can be measured against those two levels.
The spread between the year’s extremes is a useful reminder of how far the rate can travel. When you convert a substantial sum, the moment you choose can make a noticeable difference to what arrives, sometimes more than the choice of provider.
Rates are pushed around by central bank policy, economic data and shifts in risk appetite. The statistics here are historical, not a forecast. If timing matters to you, use an alert or limit order rather than a hunch.
