SGD to XRP explained
This overview tracks the price relationship between Singapore Dollar (SGD) and XRP (XRP), together with the prices that banks, money apps and exchanges actually ask. At the latest update on October 31, 2026, one SGD is worth 0.625675 XRP, while one XRP comes to 1.5983 SGD.
That headline number is the mid-market rate. It sits exactly halfway between the price at which large banks buy SGD and the price at which they sell it. It works as a neutral benchmark: nobody earns anything on it directly, and that is why you rarely get it as a private customer.
The amount that lands in the other account comes down to two separate costs: the gap between the provider’s rate and the mid-market rate and any fixed or percentage fee. In the sections below we show how those costs are built up, put them side by side and share simple habits to get closer to the mid-market rate when you swap Singapore Dollar for XRP.
Sending a larger amount from SGD to XRP
Only use providers that are regulated. Look for authorisation from the FCA in the UK or the financial regulator in your own country. Regulated firms have to safeguard client funds.
Check names and account details twice. Once money has left, getting it back is difficult. Be suspicious if someone urges you to pay quickly or suddenly changes bank details. Call to confirm, using contact details you already had.
Big sums usually trigger extra verification. Have documents ready that show where the money came from, like a statement or a sales contract. Some providers lower their margin on request for larger customers. Some also let you lock in a rate for a short period.
One year of SGD to XRP
Over the past twelve months, the exchange rate has changed by +98.66%. Within those twelve months the top of the range was 0.788648 XRP per SGD, while the lowest was 0.303543. Today’s rate of 0.625675 can be measured against those two levels.
The spread between the year’s extremes puts the movement into real terms. When you convert a substantial sum, the moment you choose can make a noticeable difference to what arrives, sometimes more than the choice of provider.
Rates are pushed around by interest rate decisions, inflation figures, trade flows and general market sentiment. We show the figures as they are and do not make predictions. If you want to act on a certain rate, it is more practical to set an alert than to guess.
Getting the most XRP for your SGD
Look at the final amount, not just the fee. A small fee on its own says little when the margin is high. What you want to know is the amount received, which combines margin and fee.
At foreign tills and cash machines, you may be asked whether to pay in SGD or in the local currency. The trade name for this is dynamic currency conversion. It usually comes with a steep markup. Always opt to pay in the local currency and the conversion follows your card’s own terms.
Timing can also matter. Rates quoted on a Saturday or Sunday can include a weekend surcharge. For transfers that can wait, a rate alert or limit order lets you convert automatically once SGD/XRP reaches a level you choose. It saves you from checking the rate every day, but the target may never be reached.
Also check how you fund the transfer. Paying by credit card can trigger extra charges, while a plain bank transfer is normally the low-cost option. Sending less often but in larger amounts reduces what you pay in flat fees.
What to know about SGD/XRP on crypto platforms
Where you convert matters a lot with crypto. On an exchange with an order book, you deal with a spread between the highest bid and the lowest ask, plus a trading fee. Simple broker apps often show one price which hides a wider spread.
If you withdraw coins to a wallet, there is a separate network charge. That fee does not depend on the amount, so it weighs more on small transactions. Always check which network a platform uses: a mismatch can mean the funds never arrive.
The price of a crypto asset can swing hard in a short time. Quoted prices tend to expire quickly, while large trades risk slippage. Use the rate here as a guide, not as a binding quote.
Think about custody as well. On a platform, someone else manages the private keys, whereas self-custody means you alone can access, or lose, the funds. Use platforms that are registered with the regulator in your country.
Mid-market rate versus the rate you get
Nearly every bank and app do not convert at the rate of 0.625675 as such. They shift the rate in their own favour and keep the difference. This is known as the spread. A markup of 2%, for example, means that about 2 out of every 100 SGD never reach the recipient.
Besides the hidden margin, most banks ask for a separate fee. It may be a fixed amount per transfer, a percentage of the amount or a mix of both. On classic bank transfers abroad the receiving or intermediary bank sometimes deducts a charge too, and those only show up at the end.
Be wary of anything sold as commission-free. Free usually means the price is built into the exchange rate. The reliable test is the total amount that arrives in XRP for an identical SGD amount, which is how the table above is sorted.
A worked example with 1,000.00 SGD
Take a conversion of 1,000.00 SGD. Using the reference rate of 0.625675, that sum sets the ceiling for what any provider could deliver in XRP. No service pays out that exact figure, because margins and fees come off first.
Across the 1 providers in our comparison, Revolut came out cheapest for this amount and paid out 616.3523 XRP at the time of our last update. Whatever is missing compared with the mid-market amount shows the true cost, fees and margin combined.
Bear in mind that the cheapest provider for 1,000.00 SGD is not automatically the cheapest for every amount. A flat fee hurts most when the amount is small, while the margin in the rate becomes the bigger cost on larger transfers. Try your actual amount in the calculator above and check whether the order changes.
How our SGD/XRP comparison works
We start from the live mid-market rate for SGD/XRP. For each provider we apply its published fees and the margin it adds to the rate, to calculate what actually arrives in XRP. The comparison covers 1 providers, so you can see the differences at a glance.
Rates are refreshed every 30 minutes, so the page reflects the market of October 31, 2026. Providers confirm their own price at checkout, since markets keep moving.
GoldexPay is independent. Some links on this page are affiliate links, which help fund our work. That never changes the ranking: providers are sorted purely by how much XRP the recipient gets.
