Converting Solana into Euro: rate, costs and context

The page you are reading brings together the exchange rate between Solana (SOL) and Euro (EUR) and sets it next to the prices that banks, money apps and exchanges actually ask. At the latest update on October 30, 2026, one SOL is worth 84.1245 EUR, and one EUR equals 0.011887 SOL.

The figure at the top is the mid-market rate. It sits exactly halfway between what wholesale traders pay for SOL and what they ask for it. Think of it as a neutral benchmark: no fee or margin is built in, which is exactly why consumers almost never receive it in full.

What ends up on the EUR side comes down to two separate costs: the gap between the provider’s rate and the mid-market rate and the fee you see on the order screen. Further down we show how those costs are built up, put them side by side and give concrete ways to keep more of your money when converting SOL to EUR.

Example: converting 10.0000 SOL

Consider a conversion of 10.0000 SOL. Converted at the pure mid-market rate (84.1245), that sum sets the ceiling for what is possible on the EUR side. No service pays out that exact figure, as costs are deducted somewhere in the process.

Of the 20 providers we compared, Crypto.com came out cheapest for this amount and paid out 840.19 EUR after all costs. Whatever is missing compared with the mid-market amount shows the true cost, fees and margin combined.

Bear in mind that the cheapest provider for 10.0000 SOL is not automatically the cheapest for every amount. A flat fee hurts most when the amount is small, while the margin in the rate becomes the bigger cost on larger transfers. Enter your own amount in the converter and check whether the order changes.

About this comparison

Our starting point is the current mid-market rate. Each provider’s published fee and markup are applied on top, to calculate what actually arrives in EUR. We do this for 20 providers, placed side by side.

We update the rates every 30 minutes, and the date on the page shows when the data was last updated. The final price is always set by the provider itself, because their rate can move between our updates, especially when markets are busy.

No bank, app or exchange owns GoldexPay. We may earn a commission through some links, which help pay for the site. That never changes the ranking: providers are sorted purely by how much EUR the recipient gets.

Crypto spreads, network fees and custody

Where you convert matters a lot with crypto. On a trading platform, you pay the difference between bid and ask, plus a trading fee. Simple broker apps often show one price with the margin already included.

Withdrawing crypto from a platform, there is a separate network charge. That fee does not depend on the amount, which makes small withdrawals relatively expensive. Always check which network a platform uses: mistakes here are rarely reversible.

The price of a crypto asset can swing hard in a short time. A displayed price may be fixed only for a few seconds, and on large orders the execution price can slip. Use the rate here as a guide, not as a binding quote.

Custody is another point to consider. On a platform, someone else manages the private keys, while in your own wallet you are fully responsible for the keys. Use platforms that are registered with the regulator in your country.

Staying safe with bigger SOL to EUR transfers

Make sure the provider is licensed. In the UK that means authorisation by the FCA, elsewhere a central bank or financial supervisor. Regulated firms have to safeguard client funds and that offers protection if the company fails.

Double-check the recipient details before you confirm. Mistakes are rarely fixed quickly with transfers abroad. Be suspicious if someone urges you to pay quickly or suddenly changes bank details: confirm by phone using a number you already know.

Larger transfers often come with additional questions. You may need to show proof of the source of funds, such as a payslip, sale agreement or bank statement. For big amounts it can pay to ask for a better rate. Some also let you lock in a rate for a short period.

What banks and apps really charge for SOL to EUR

Most providers will not give you the mid-market rate as such. They quote a slightly worse rate and pocket the gap. People call this the exchange rate margin. With a 2% markup, for instance, for every 100 SOL you convert, about 2 SOL worth disappears before the money arrives.

On top of the margin, many providers charge an explicit fee. This is usually a flat charge per payment, a percentage of the amount or both at once. On classic bank transfers abroad other banks along the route may take their own cut, which shrinks the amount that finally arrives.

Look twice at services that advertise free transfers. Free usually means the price is built into the exchange rate. The only fair way to compare is how much EUR the recipient ends up with for exactly the same sum, and the comparison table on this page is ranked on exactly that.

The SOL/EUR rate over twelve months

Across the last year, the exchange rate shows a change of -49.92%. In that period the highest level was 167.9771 EUR per SOL, and the low point came in at 53.6647. Today’s rate of 84.1245 can be measured against those two levels.

That range between high and low puts the movement into real terms. For a bigger amount, timing has a visible effect on the outcome, sometimes more than the choice of provider.

Rates are pushed around by central bank policy, economic data and shifts in risk appetite. These figures describe the past and say nothing about what comes next. If you are waiting for a particular level, it is more practical to set an alert than to guess.

Getting the most EUR for your SOL

Compare the total cost, not the fee alone. A low headline fee proves nothing if the rate is poor. The fairest figure to compare is the amount received, which combines margin and fee.

When you pay by card abroad, you may be asked whether to pay in SOL or in the local currency. This is called dynamic currency conversion. It usually comes with a steep markup. Choose the local currency and let your own card provider do the conversion.

Watch the timing as well. Some providers widen their margin at weekends, when currency markets are closed. When there is no deadline, a rate alert or limit order lets you convert automatically once SOL/EUR reaches a level you choose. It takes the guesswork out, though the target may never be reached.

The payment method matters as well. Card payments often cost more than a bank transfer, while a plain bank transfer is normally the low-cost option. Bundling smaller transfers means fixed charges hit you fewer times.
