Solana to Litecoin: what you are looking at
This overview follows the price relationship between Solana (SOL) and Litecoin (LTC) and sets it next to what real providers charge to convert one into the other. At the latest update on October 31, 2026, 1 SOL equals 1.7470 LTC, while one LTC is worth 0.572405 SOL.
That headline number is the mid-market rate, sometimes called the interbank rate. It sits exactly halfway between the price at which large banks buy SOL and the price at which they sell it. Treat it as the cleanest reference you can get: it contains no profit margin and no fees, which is exactly why you rarely get it as a private customer.
The amount that lands in the other account depends on two separate costs: the margin a provider adds to that rate and any fixed or percentage fee. In the sections below we take those costs apart, look at what a conversion costs in practice and share simple habits to keep more of your money when converting SOL to LTC.
Recent movement in the SOL/LTC rate
Across the last year, the SOL/LTC rate has changed by -11.67%. During that year the top of the range was 2.1869 LTC per SOL, while the bottom of the range was 1.3715. Today’s rate of 1.7470 sits somewhere inside that range.
The spread between the year’s extremes shows how much the rate can move in practice. On a large conversion, the moment you choose can make a noticeable difference to what arrives, even when the fee stays the same.
Exchange rates respond to interest rate decisions, inflation figures, trade flows and general market sentiment. We show the figures as they are and do not make predictions. If you want to act on a certain rate, use an alert or limit order rather than a hunch.
How our SOL/LTC comparison works
We start from the live mid-market rate for SOL/LTC. Each provider’s published fee and markup are applied on top, and work out how much LTC the recipient would end up with. In total 20 providers are included, so you can see the differences at a glance.
Rates are refreshed every 30 minutes, so the page reflects the market of October 31, 2026. Always check the final quote in the provider’s app or website, because their rate can move between our updates, especially when markets are busy.
GoldexPay is independent. We may earn a commission through some links. They have no influence on the order: the provider that delivers the most LTC comes first, whether or not we have a link to it.
How providers price SOL to LTC
The majority of services stay away from the mid-market rate itself. Instead they shift the rate in their own favour and earn on the difference. That gap is called the spread. If the margin is 2%, then for every 100 SOL you convert, about 2 SOL worth disappears before the money arrives.
Next to that markup, most banks charge an explicit fee. This is usually a flat charge per payment, a share of what you send or a mix of both. With international bank payments other banks along the route may take their own cut, and those only show up at the end.
Look twice at offers that say "no fees" or "0% commission". In many cases the margin in the rate simply does the work of the fee. The only fair way to compare is how much LTC the recipient ends up with for an identical SOL amount, and that is the figure our table ranks on.
Getting the most LTC for your SOL
Look at the final amount, not just the fee. A provider with a low fee can still be expensive if the rate is poor. What you want to know is the amount received, which combines the markup and the fee.
When you pay by card abroad, a terminal may offer to charge you in your home currency. That option is known as dynamic currency conversion, or DCC. It tends to be among the most expensive ways to convert. Always opt to pay in the local currency and let your own card provider do the conversion.
Timing plays a role too. At weekends, with the wholesale market shut, some services add an extra buffer to the rate. If you are not in a hurry, a rate alert or limit order lets you convert automatically once SOL/LTC reaches a level you choose. That avoids guessing, but the target may never be reached.
Finally, look at how you pay. Paying by credit card can trigger extra charges, and a plain bank transfer is normally the low-cost option. Combining several small payments into one larger transfer reduces what you pay in flat fees.
Buying or selling crypto: SOL to LTC
Where you convert matters a lot with crypto. On an exchange with an order book, you deal with a spread between the highest bid and the lowest ask, plus a trading fee. Easy buy buttons in apps usually quote a single price with the margin already included.
If you withdraw coins to a wallet, you pay a network or withdrawal fee. It is often a fixed amount regardless of the size of the transfer, which makes small withdrawals relatively expensive. Double-check the network before you send: coins sent over the wrong network can be lost.
The price of a crypto asset can swing hard in a short time. Quoted prices tend to expire quickly, and big orders can fill at a worse price than shown. Treat the figure above as an indication.
Also decide who holds the keys. On a platform, someone else manages the private keys, while self-custody means you alone can access, or lose, the funds. Check that a platform is registered or licensed with a financial regulator where you live.
Example: converting 10.0000 SOL
Take an amount of 10.0000 SOL. Using the reference rate of 1.7470, that marks the theoretical maximum of what the recipient could get. No service pays out that exact figure, because margins and fees come off first.
Looking at all 20 providers we track, Crypto.com came out cheapest for this amount, with 17.4483 LTC in the end. The gap between 17.4483 LTC and the theoretical maximum shows the true cost, fees and margin combined.
Note that the cheapest provider for 10.0000 SOL is not automatically the cheapest for every amount. A flat fee hurts most when the amount is small, whereas the margin in the rate becomes the bigger cost on larger transfers. Run your own figure through the converter and check whether the order changes.
Larger transfers: what to check first
Only use providers that are regulated. A regulated provider is registered with a supervisor such as the FCA or your national central bank. Regulation includes rules on keeping your money apart from the company’s own and that offers protection if the company fails.
Verify every detail of the recipient. Once money has left, getting it back is difficult. Be suspicious if someone urges you to pay quickly or suddenly changes bank details: confirm by phone using a number you already know.
Larger transfers often come with additional questions. Have documents ready that show where the money came from, such as a payslip, sale agreement or bank statement. For big amounts it can pay to ask for a better rate. Some also let you lock in a rate for a short period.
