USDC to EUR: rate, costs and context
The page you are reading tracks the rate for USD Coin (USDC) and Euro (EUR), together with what real providers charge to convert one into the other. On October 30, 2026, 1 USDC buys 0.894714 EUR, and a single EUR is worth 1.1177 USDC.
The rate shown above is the mid-market rate, sometimes called the interbank rate. It is the midpoint between what wholesale traders pay for USDC and what they ask for it. It works as a fair reference point: no fee or margin is built in, which is exactly why you rarely get it as a private customer.
What ends up on the EUR side comes down to two separate costs: a markup hidden in the exchange rate and the visible transfer or service fee. Further down we show how those costs are built up, show how they add up on a real amount and list practical steps to lose less on the exchange when you change USDC into EUR.
Sending a larger amount from USDC to EUR
Make sure the provider is licensed. A regulated provider is registered with a supervisor such as the FCA or your national central bank. Regulation includes rules on keeping your money apart from the company’s own and that offers protection if the company fails.
Verify every detail of the recipient. An international payment is hard to reverse once it is sent. Be suspicious if someone urges you to pay quickly or suddenly changes bank details. Verify through a channel you trust.
Big sums usually trigger extra verification. You may need to show proof of the source of funds, for example a contract of sale or an account statement. For big amounts it can pay to ask for a better rate. Ask whether you can fix the rate in advance.
Tips for converting USDC to EUR
Look at the final amount, not just the fee. A provider with a low fee can still be expensive when the margin is high. What you want to know is how much EUR arrives for your USDC, and that already includes both the markup and the fee.
When you pay by card abroad, a terminal may offer to charge you in your home currency. The trade name for this is dynamic currency conversion. The rate used is usually poor. Choose the local currency and the conversion follows your card’s own terms.
Timing can also matter. Rates quoted on a Saturday or Sunday can include a weekend surcharge. For transfers that can wait, a rate alert or limit order lets you convert automatically once USDC/EUR reaches a level you choose. That avoids guessing, but the target may never be reached.
The payment method matters as well. Card payments often cost more than a bank transfer, while funding by bank transfer tends to keep costs down. Combining several small payments into one larger transfer means fixed charges hit you fewer times.
Buying or selling crypto: USDC to EUR
Where you convert matters a lot with crypto. On a trading platform, there is a gap between the buy and sell price, the spread, on top of a maker or taker fee. Simple broker apps often show one price which hides a wider spread.
If you withdraw coins to a wallet, there is a separate network charge. That fee does not depend on the amount, so for small amounts it can be a large share. Always check which network a platform uses: coins sent over the wrong network can be lost.
The price of a crypto asset can swing hard in a short time. A quote is often only valid for a short moment, while large trades risk slippage. Treat the figure above as an indication.
Also decide who holds the keys. On a platform, someone else manages the private keys, while self-custody means you alone can access, or lose, the funds. Check that a platform is registered or licensed with a financial regulator where you live.
Exchange rate markup and fees on USDC/EUR
Nearly every bank and app do not convert at the mid-market rate itself. Instead they quote a slightly worse rate and pocket the gap. This is known as the spread. A markup of 2%, for example, means that for every 100 USDC you convert, about 2 USDC worth disappears before the money arrives.
On top of the margin, a lot of services charge an explicit fee. This is usually a flat charge per payment, a percentage of the amount or both at once. For transfers sent through the banking network the receiving or intermediary bank sometimes deducts a charge too, which shrinks the amount that finally arrives.
Look twice at offers that say "no fees" or "0% commission". The cost often sits in the rate instead. The reliable test is the final EUR figure for an identical USDC amount, and the comparison table on this page is ranked on exactly that.
1,000.00 USDC to EUR, step by step
Take an amount of 1,000.00 USDC. Converted at the pure mid-market rate (0.894714), that sum sets the ceiling for what is possible on the EUR side. No service pays out that exact figure, because margins and fees come off first.
Looking at all 20 providers we track, Crypto.com gave the best result, with 893.60 EUR in the end. The gap between 893.60 EUR and the theoretical maximum is the real price of the transfer.
Keep in mind that the cheapest provider for 1,000.00 USDC is not automatically the cheapest for every amount. Fixed fees weigh heavily on small sums, whereas the margin in the rate becomes the bigger cost on larger transfers. Run your own figure through the converter for a ranking that fits your situation.
One year of USDC to EUR
Over the past twelve months, the USDC/EUR rate has changed by +3.38%. Within those twelve months the highest level was 0.897695 EUR for one USDC, and the low point came in at 0.834712. The current 0.894714 sits somewhere inside that range.
That range between high and low puts the movement into real terms. On a large conversion, the moment you choose can make a noticeable difference to what arrives, sometimes more than the choice of provider.
Exchange rates respond to interest rate decisions, inflation figures, trade flows and general market sentiment. We show the figures as they are and do not make predictions. If timing matters to you, a rate alert is a calmer option than trying to predict the market.
How our USDC/EUR comparison works
We start from the live mid-market rate for USDC/EUR. We then apply each provider’s published fees and exchange rate margin, to calculate what actually arrives in EUR. In total 20 providers are included, so you can see the differences at a glance.
We update the rates every 30 minutes, and the date on the page shows when the data was last updated. Providers confirm their own price at checkout, and it can differ slightly from our calculation, especially when markets are busy.
No bank, app or exchange owns GoldexPay. We may earn a commission through some links. They have no influence on the order: providers are sorted purely by how much EUR the recipient gets.
