BTC to XRP explained
This page brings together the price relationship between Bitcoin (BTC) and XRP (XRP) and compares it with the cost of an actual conversion at a range of providers. As of October 30, 2026, one BTC is worth 61,440.80 XRP, while one XRP equals 0.0000162758 BTC.
The rate shown above is the mid-market rate, sometimes called the interbank rate. It is calculated as the middle of the price at which large banks buy BTC and the price at which they sell it. Treat it as a neutral benchmark: it contains no profit margin and no fees, so few consumer services pass it on unchanged.
The amount that lands in the other account depends on two separate costs: the margin a provider adds to that rate and the visible transfer or service fee. Below the converter and chart we take those costs apart, show how they add up on a real amount and list practical steps to keep more of your money when converting BTC to XRP.
What to know about BTC/XRP on crypto platforms
With crypto, the price you pay depends heavily on where you trade. On a trading platform, you deal with a spread between the highest bid and the lowest ask, on top of a maker or taker fee. Easy buy buttons in apps usually quote a single price which hides a wider spread.
Withdrawing crypto from a platform, there is a separate network charge. It is unrelated to how much you move, which makes small withdrawals relatively expensive. Double-check the network before you send: mistakes here are rarely reversible.
Volatility is much higher than with regular currencies. A quote is often only valid for a short moment, and big orders can fill at a worse price than shown. The rate on this page is a reference point, not a guaranteed price.
Also decide who holds the keys. On a platform, someone else manages the private keys, while self-custody means you alone can access, or lose, the funds. Look for registration with a financial supervisor before you deposit.
Where the cost of converting BTC to XRP hides
Most providers will not give you the rate of 61,440.80 itself. They offer a rate that is a little less favourable and earn on the difference. This is known as the spread. If the margin is 2%, then for every 100 BTC you convert, about 2 BTC worth disappears before the money arrives.
On top of the margin, many providers ask for a separate fee. That can be a fixed amount per transfer, a share of what you send or a mix of both. On classic bank transfers abroad other banks along the route may take their own cut, which shrinks the amount that finally arrives.
Look twice at services that advertise free transfers. Free usually means the price is built into the exchange rate. What really counts is how much XRP the recipient ends up with for the same amount of BTC, and the comparison table on this page is ranked on exactly that.
About this comparison
Our starting point is the current mid-market rate. For each provider we apply its published fees and the margin it adds to the rate, which gives the amount the recipient receives. In total 20 providers are included, placed side by side.
The figures refresh every half hour, so the page reflects the market of October 30, 2026. Providers confirm their own price at checkout, and it can differ slightly from our calculation.
We are not owned by any provider. Some of the links are affiliate links. The order is never affected by them: the provider that delivers the most XRP comes first, whether or not we have a link to it.
Before you send: security and large amounts
Make sure the provider is licensed. Look for authorisation from the FCA in the UK or the financial regulator in your own country. Licensed payment firms must keep customer money separate from their own, which protects you if something goes wrong.
Check names and account details twice. Once money has left, getting it back is difficult. Unexpected changes to payment details are a classic warning sign: confirm by phone using a number you already know.
Big sums usually trigger extra verification. Have documents ready that show where the money came from, for example a contract of sale or an account statement. For big amounts it can pay to ask for a better rate. Some also let you lock in a rate for a short period.
Practical ways to save on BTC/XRP
Look at the final amount, not just the fee. A provider with a low fee can still be expensive if the rate is poor. What you want to know is how much XRP arrives for your BTC, which combines margin and fee.
At foreign tills and cash machines, you may be asked whether to pay in BTC or in the local currency. That option is known as dynamic currency conversion, or DCC. It usually comes with a steep markup. Always opt to pay in the local currency so your bank or card issuer handles the exchange.
Timing can also matter. Some providers widen their margin at weekends, when currency markets are closed. For transfers that can wait, a rate alert or limit order lets you convert automatically once BTC/XRP reaches a level you choose. That avoids guessing, though the target may never be reached.
Finally, look at how you pay. A credit card may be treated as a cash advance by your card issuer, and a plain bank transfer is normally the low-cost option. Sending less often but in larger amounts reduces what you pay in flat fees.
The BTC/XRP rate over twelve months
Across the last year, the BTC/XRP rate shows a change of +42.40%. In that period the top of the range was 64,612.41 XRP per BTC, and the lowest was 39,646.51. Today’s rate of 61,440.80 can be measured against those two levels.
The spread between the year’s extremes is a useful reminder of how far the rate can travel. On a large conversion, timing has a visible effect on the outcome, even when the fee stays the same.
Rates are pushed around by central bank policy, economic data and shifts in risk appetite. These figures describe the past and say nothing about what comes next. If timing matters to you, it is more practical to set an alert than to guess.
0.0100 BTC to XRP, step by step
Let’s use an amount of 0.0100 BTC. At the mid-market rate of 61,440.80, you can work out the upper limit of what any provider could deliver in XRP. In practice nobody hands over that full amount, because margins and fees come off first.
Across the 20 providers in our comparison, Crypto.com came out cheapest for this amount and paid out 613.6402 XRP in the end. Whatever is missing compared with the mid-market amount shows the true cost, fees and margin combined.
Note that a different amount can produce a different winner. Fixed fees weigh heavily on small sums, while the margin in the rate becomes the bigger cost on larger transfers. Enter your own amount in the converter and check whether the order changes.
