US Dollar to BNB at a glance

The page you are reading tracks the price relationship between US Dollar (USD) and BNB (BNB) and compares it with what real providers charge to convert one into the other. As of October 30, 2026, 1 USD buys 0.00142996 BNB, and a single BNB equals 699.3200 USD.

The rate shown above is the mid-market rate. It sits exactly halfway between what wholesale traders pay for USD and what they ask for it. Think of it as the cleanest reference you can get: it contains no profit margin and no fees, and that is why few consumer services pass it on unchanged.

The amount that lands in the other account comes down to two separate costs: a markup hidden in the exchange rate and the visible transfer or service fee. Further down we explain how those costs work, put them side by side and list practical steps to lose less on the exchange when converting USD to BNB.

A worked example with 1,000.00 USD

Let’s use a transfer of 1,000.00 USD. Using the reference rate of 0.00142996, you can work out the upper limit of what any provider could deliver in BNB. In practice nobody hands over that full amount, as costs are deducted somewhere in the process.

Of the 15 providers we compared, Crypto.com gave the best result: the recipient gets 1.4282 BNB after all costs. The gap between 1.4282 BNB and the theoretical maximum is what the conversion actually cost you.

Keep in mind that the cheapest provider for 1,000.00 USD is not automatically the cheapest for every amount. A flat fee hurts most when the amount is small, whereas a percentage margin grows along with the amount. Enter your own amount in the converter and check whether the order changes.

How our USD/BNB comparison works

Our starting point is the current mid-market rate. Each provider’s published fee and markup are applied on top, and work out how much BNB the recipient would end up with. In total 15 providers are included, placed side by side.

Rates are refreshed every 30 minutes, with October 30, 2026 as the reference date. Providers confirm their own price at checkout, and it can differ slightly from our calculation, especially when markets are busy.

No bank, app or exchange owns GoldexPay. We may earn a commission through some links, which help pay for the site. The order is never affected by them: the only ranking criterion is the amount received.

Converting USD to BNB as a crypto pair

With crypto, the price you pay depends heavily on where you trade. On a trading platform, you deal with a spread between the highest bid and the lowest ask, on top of a maker or taker fee. Easy buy buttons in apps usually quote a single price which hides a wider spread.

When you move crypto to or from your own wallet, you pay a network or withdrawal fee. It is unrelated to how much you move, so for small amounts it can be a large share. Double-check the network before you send: mistakes here are rarely reversible.

The price of a crypto asset can swing hard in a short time. A quote is often only valid for a short moment, and big orders can fill at a worse price than shown. Treat the figure above as an indication.

Think about custody as well. If you leave crypto on a platform, the platform controls it, whereas a personal wallet puts the responsibility, and the risk of losing access, on you. Look for registration with a financial supervisor before you deposit.

Recent movement in the USD/BNB rate

Over the past twelve months, the exchange rate shows a change of +58.37%. In that period the rate peaked at 0.00183196 BNB per USD, while the bottom of the range was 0.00090290. Today’s rate of 0.00142996 is easy to place within that band.

That range between high and low puts the movement into real terms. On a large conversion, timing has a visible effect on the outcome, even when the fee stays the same.

Exchange rates respond to news, economic data and supply and demand on the market. The statistics here are historical, not a forecast. If you are waiting for a particular level, a rate alert is a calmer option than trying to predict the market.

Tips for converting USD to BNB

Look at the final amount, not just the fee. A provider with a low fee can still be expensive because the margin can make up the difference. What you want to know is the BNB amount after every cost, and that already includes both margin and fee.

If you pay or withdraw cash in a BNB country, you can get a choice between your own currency and the local one. The trade name for this is dynamic currency conversion. The rate used is usually poor. Always opt to pay in the local currency and the conversion follows your card’s own terms.

Timing can also matter. Rates quoted on a Saturday or Sunday can include a weekend surcharge. For transfers that can wait, you can set a target rate and let the provider convert only when it is reached. That avoids guessing, but there is no guarantee the rate will get there.

Also check how you fund the transfer. A credit card may be treated as a cash advance by your card issuer, and funding by bank transfer tends to keep costs down. Sending less often but in larger amounts means fixed charges hit you fewer times.

Larger transfers: what to check first

Only use providers that are regulated. A regulated provider is registered with a supervisor such as the FCA or your national central bank. Regulated firms have to safeguard client funds and that offers protection if the company fails.

Double-check the recipient details before you confirm. An international payment is hard to reverse once it is sent. Unexpected changes to payment details are a classic warning sign: confirm by phone using a number you already know.

Larger transfers often come with additional questions. You may need to show proof of the source of funds, for example a contract of sale or an account statement. Some providers lower their margin on request for larger customers. A rate lock, where offered, removes uncertainty while the money is on its way.

Exchange rate markup and fees on USD/BNB

Nearly every bank and app do not convert at the mid-market rate as such. They offer a rate that is a little less favourable and pocket the gap. That gap is called the markup. If the margin is 2%, then about 2 out of every 100 USD never reach the recipient.

Besides the hidden margin, most banks add a visible fee. This is usually a fixed amount per transfer, a percentage of the amount or both at once. On classic bank transfers abroad other banks along the route may take their own cut, which shrinks the amount that finally arrives.

Be wary of services that advertise free transfers. In many cases the margin in the rate simply does the work of the fee. The reliable test is the final BNB figure for the same amount of USD, and the comparison table on this page is ranked on exactly that.
