USDC to SOL explained

This overview follows the exchange rate between USD Coin (USDC) and Solana (SOL) and compares it with the prices that banks, money apps and exchanges actually ask. On October 30, 2026, 1 USDC buys 0.010612 SOL, and a single SOL comes to 94.2340 USDC.

The rate shown above is the mid-market rate, sometimes called the interbank rate. It is the midpoint between the price at which large banks buy USDC and the price at which they sell it. It works as the cleanest reference you can get: it contains no profit margin and no fees, and that is why few consumer services pass it on unchanged.

The amount that lands in the other account depends on two things: the gap between the provider’s rate and the mid-market rate and any fixed or percentage fee. Below the converter and chart we show how those costs are built up, look at what a conversion costs in practice and share simple habits to keep more of your money when converting USDC to SOL.

Sample calculation for 1,000.00 USDC

Take an amount of 1,000.00 USDC. Converted at the pure mid-market rate (0.010612), that marks the theoretical maximum of what is possible on the SOL side. In reality every provider keeps something, as costs are deducted somewhere in the process.

Looking at all 20 providers we track, Crypto.com came out cheapest for this amount: the recipient gets 10.5986 SOL at the time of our last update. The gap between 10.5986 SOL and the theoretical maximum is what the conversion actually cost you.

Note that a different amount can produce a different winner. Fixed fees weigh heavily on small sums, while the margin in the rate becomes the bigger cost on larger transfers. Run your own figure through the converter to see the ranking that applies to you.

About this comparison

Every calculation begins with the mid-market rate of 0.010612. Each provider’s published fee and markup are applied on top, which gives the amount the recipient receives. We do this for 20 providers, ranked from most to least received.

Rates are refreshed every 30 minutes, and the date on the page shows when the data was last updated. Always check the final quote in the provider’s app or website, because their rate can move between our updates, especially when markets are busy.

We are not owned by any provider. Some links on this page are affiliate links, which help fund our work. The order is never affected by them: providers are sorted purely by how much SOL the recipient gets.

Paying less when you change USDC into SOL

Compare the total cost, not the fee alone. A low headline fee proves nothing when the margin is high. What you want to know is how much SOL arrives for your USDC, which combines the markup and the fee.

When you pay by card abroad, a terminal may offer to charge you in your home currency. The trade name for this is dynamic currency conversion. The rate used is usually poor. Choose the local currency and let your own card provider do the conversion.

Watch the timing as well. Some providers widen their margin at weekends, when currency markets are closed. When there is no deadline, an alert tells you when the rate hits a level you are happy with. It saves you from checking the rate every day, but the target may never be reached.

Also check how you fund the transfer. Paying by credit card can trigger extra charges, and funding by bank transfer tends to keep costs down. Combining several small payments into one larger transfer means fixed charges hit you fewer times.

How providers price USDC to SOL

Most providers do not convert at the mid-market rate itself. They quote a slightly worse rate and earn on the difference. That gap is called the spread. If the margin is 2%, then about 2 out of every 100 USDC never reach the recipient.

Besides the hidden margin, most banks ask for a separate fee. That can be a fixed amount per transfer, a percentage of the amount or a mix of both. With international bank payments other banks along the route may take their own cut, so the recipient gets less than you expected.

Take a close look at services that advertise free transfers. In many cases the margin in the rate simply does the work of the fee. The only fair way to compare is the final SOL figure for the same amount of USDC, and the comparison table on this page is ranked on exactly that.

Converting USDC to SOL as a crypto pair

Where you convert matters a lot with crypto. On an exchange with an order book, you pay the difference between bid and ask, plus a trading fee. Easy buy buttons in apps usually quote a single price with the margin already included.

If you withdraw coins to a wallet, there is a separate network charge. It is often a fixed amount regardless of the size of the transfer, so for small amounts it can be a large share. Double-check the network before you send: mistakes here are rarely reversible.

The price of a crypto asset can swing hard in a short time. Quoted prices tend to expire quickly, and on large orders the execution price can slip. The rate on this page is a reference point, not a guaranteed price.

Also decide who holds the keys. Coins kept on an exchange are held by that exchange, while a personal wallet puts the responsibility, and the risk of losing access, on you. Look for registration with a financial supervisor before you deposit.

Staying safe with bigger USDC to SOL transfers

Make sure the provider is licensed. A regulated provider is registered with a supervisor such as the FCA or your national central bank. Regulated firms have to safeguard client funds and that offers protection if the company fails.

Check names and account details twice. An international payment is hard to reverse once it is sent. Unexpected changes to payment details are a classic warning sign. Call to confirm, using contact details you already had.

Larger transfers often come with additional questions. Providers may ask for proof of where the money comes from, such as a payslip, sale agreement or bank statement. Some providers lower their margin on request for larger customers. A rate lock, where offered, removes uncertainty while the money is on its way.

USD Coin against Solana: the last twelve months

Over the past twelve months, the exchange rate moved by +105.97%. Within those twelve months the highest level was 0.016092 SOL per USDC, while the bottom of the range was 0.00515220. The current 0.010612 is easy to place within that band.

That range between high and low shows how much the rate can move in practice. On a large conversion, the moment you choose can make a noticeable difference to what arrives, even when the fee stays the same.

Rates are pushed around by news, economic data and supply and demand on the market. These figures describe the past and say nothing about what comes next. If you are waiting for a particular level, a rate alert is a calmer option than trying to predict the market.
