USDC to INR: what you are looking at

This overview brings together the rate for USD Coin (USDC) and Indian Rupee (INR) and compares it with what real providers charge to convert one into the other. As of October 31, 2026, 1 USDC equals 94.9509 INR, and 1 INR is worth 0.010532 USDC.

That headline number is the mid-market rate, sometimes called the interbank rate. It is calculated as the middle of the price at which large banks buy USDC and the price at which they sell it. It works as a fair reference point: no fee or margin is built in, so consumers almost never receive it in full.

The amount that lands in the other account comes down to two things: a markup hidden in the exchange rate and any fixed or percentage fee. Further down we take those costs apart, put them side by side and give concrete ways to get closer to the mid-market rate when you change USDC into INR.

How we rank providers for USDC to INR

Our starting point is the current mid-market rate. We then apply each provider’s published fees and exchange rate margin, and work out how much INR the recipient would end up with. In total 1 providers are included, ranked from most to least received.

The figures refresh every half hour, with October 31, 2026 as the reference date. Always check the final quote in the provider’s app or website, and it can differ slightly from our calculation.

No bank, app or exchange owns GoldexPay. We may earn a commission through some links, which help fund our work. They have no influence on the order: providers are sorted purely by how much INR the recipient gets.

How providers price USDC to INR

Most providers do not convert at the mid-market rate itself. They quote a slightly worse rate and pocket the gap. People call this the exchange rate margin. A markup of 2%, for example, means that for every 100 USDC you convert, about 2 USDC worth disappears before the money arrives.

On top of the margin, many providers add a visible fee. It may be a fixed amount per transfer, a share of what you send or both at once. With international bank payments other banks along the route may take their own cut, so the recipient gets less than you expected.

Be wary of offers that say "no fees" or "0% commission". In many cases the margin in the rate simply does the work of the fee. What really counts is the total amount that arrives in INR for exactly the same sum, and that is the figure our table ranks on.

Getting the most INR for your USDC

Look at the final amount, not just the fee. A provider with a low fee can still be expensive because the margin can make up the difference. What you want to know is the amount received, and that already includes both margin and fee.

At foreign tills and cash machines, a terminal may offer to charge you in your home currency. The trade name for this is dynamic currency conversion. It tends to be among the most expensive ways to convert. Choose the local currency and let your own card provider do the conversion.

Timing plays a role too. At weekends, with the wholesale market shut, some services add an extra buffer to the rate. If you are not in a hurry, a rate alert or limit order lets you convert automatically once USDC/INR reaches a level you choose. That avoids guessing, but the target may never be reached.

The payment method matters as well. A credit card may be treated as a cash advance by your card issuer, and a regular bank transfer to the provider is usually the cheapest way in. Sending less often but in larger amounts means fixed charges hit you fewer times.

1,000.00 USDC to INR, step by step

Consider a transfer of 1,000.00 USDC. Converted at the pure mid-market rate (94.9509), you can work out the upper limit of what is possible on the INR side. In practice nobody hands over that full amount, because margins and fees come off first.

Of the 1 providers we compared, Revolut gave the best result: the recipient gets 93,536.13 INR at the time of our last update. The difference between that figure and the mid-market amount shows the true cost, fees and margin combined.

Keep in mind that rankings shift with the amount you send. A flat fee hurts most when the amount is small, whereas a percentage margin grows along with the amount. Run your own figure through the converter to see the ranking that applies to you.

Safety checks before you convert USDC to INR

Check the provider’s licence first. In the UK that means authorisation by the FCA, elsewhere a central bank or financial supervisor. Regulated firms have to safeguard client funds.

Check names and account details twice. Once money has left, getting it back is difficult. Be suspicious if someone urges you to pay quickly or suddenly changes bank details. Verify through a channel you trust.

Big sums usually trigger extra verification. Providers may ask for proof of where the money comes from, for example a contract of sale or an account statement. Some services offer better rates or a personal contact for larger transfers. Some also let you lock in a rate for a short period.

Recent movement in the USDC/INR rate

Compared with a year ago, the exchange rate moved by +7.03%. Within those twelve months the rate peaked at 96.7622 INR for one USDC, while the bottom of the range was 88.4734. The current 94.9509 is easy to place within that band.

The distance between the high and the low puts the movement into real terms. On a large conversion, timing has a visible effect on the outcome, occasionally more than the difference between providers.

Exchange rates respond to interest rate decisions, inflation figures, trade flows and general market sentiment. These figures describe the past and say nothing about what comes next. If you are waiting for a particular level, it is more practical to set an alert than to guess.

Crypto spreads, network fees and custody

Where you convert matters a lot with crypto. On an exchange with an order book, you deal with a spread between the highest bid and the lowest ask, plus a trading fee. Simple broker apps often show one price which hides a wider spread.

If you withdraw coins to a wallet, you pay a network or withdrawal fee. That fee does not depend on the amount, so for small amounts it can be a large share. Always check which network a platform uses: coins sent over the wrong network can be lost.

Crypto prices can move sharply within minutes. Quoted prices tend to expire quickly, while large trades risk slippage. Treat the figure above as an indication.

Think about custody as well. Coins kept on an exchange are held by that exchange, while self-custody means you alone can access, or lose, the funds. Look for registration with a financial supervisor before you deposit.
