The ETH/XRP exchange rate at a glance
This page brings together the exchange rate between Ethereum (ETH) and XRP (XRP) and compares it with the prices that banks, money apps and exchanges actually ask. At the latest update on October 30, 2026, 1 ETH equals 1,789.43 XRP, while one XRP is worth 0.00055884 ETH.
The rate shown above is the interbank mid rate. It sits exactly halfway between the price at which large banks buy ETH and the price at which they sell it. Think of it as the cleanest reference you can get: no fee or margin is built in, so few consumer services pass it on unchanged.
The amount that lands in the other account comes down to two separate costs: a markup hidden in the exchange rate and the fee you see on the order screen. Below the converter and chart we show how those costs are built up, put them side by side and give concrete ways to keep more of your money when you swap Ethereum for XRP.
Recent movement in the ETH/XRP rate
Over the past twelve months, the ETH/XRP rate has changed by +16.92%. In that period the top of the range was 2,037.49 XRP per ETH, while the low point came in at 1,317.83. The current 1,789.43 sits somewhere inside that range.
The distance between the high and the low is a useful reminder of how far the rate can travel. For a bigger amount, the moment you choose can make a noticeable difference to what arrives, even when the fee stays the same.
Rates are pushed around by interest rate decisions, inflation figures, trade flows and general market sentiment. The statistics here are historical, not a forecast. If timing matters to you, a rate alert is a calmer option than trying to predict the market.
What banks and apps really charge for ETH to XRP
Most providers will not give you the rate of 1,789.43 as such. Instead they quote a slightly worse rate and keep the difference. This is known as the exchange rate margin. If the margin is 2%, then you lose roughly 2 ETH on every 100 ETH, without it ever appearing as a fee.
On top of the margin, most banks add a visible fee. This is usually a flat charge per payment, a percentage of the amount or both at once. On classic bank transfers abroad extra deductions can follow, so the recipient gets less than you expected.
Take a close look at anything sold as commission-free. In many cases the margin in the rate simply does the work of the fee. The only fair way to compare is the total amount that arrives in XRP for exactly the same sum, which is how the table above is sorted.
Safety checks before you convert ETH to XRP
Make sure the provider is licensed. A regulated provider is registered with a supervisor such as the FCA or your national central bank. Licensed payment firms must keep customer money separate from their own, which protects you if something goes wrong.
Check names and account details twice. An international payment is hard to reverse once it is sent. Unexpected changes to payment details are a classic warning sign: confirm by phone using a number you already know.
Larger transfers often come with additional questions. Have documents ready that show where the money came from, like a statement or a sales contract. Some services offer better rates or a personal contact for larger transfers. Some also let you lock in a rate for a short period.
Buying or selling crypto: ETH to XRP
Crypto prices differ from platform to platform. On an exchange with an order book, you deal with a spread between the highest bid and the lowest ask, and a commission per trade. Easy buy buttons in apps usually quote a single price with the margin already included.
When you move crypto to or from your own wallet, a network fee applies. It is often a fixed amount regardless of the size of the transfer, which makes small withdrawals relatively expensive. Always check which network a platform uses: mistakes here are rarely reversible.
Crypto prices can move sharply within minutes. Quoted prices tend to expire quickly, and big orders can fill at a worse price than shown. Use the rate here as a guide, not as a binding quote.
Also decide who holds the keys. If you leave crypto on a platform, the platform controls it, while self-custody means you alone can access, or lose, the funds. Look for registration with a financial supervisor before you deposit.
Getting the most XRP for your ETH
Judge on what arrives, not on what is advertised. A provider with a low fee can still be expensive because the margin can make up the difference. What you want to know is the XRP amount after every cost, which combines the markup and the fee.
If you pay or withdraw cash in a XRP country, a terminal may offer to charge you in your home currency. This is called dynamic currency conversion. It usually comes with a steep markup. Choose the local currency so your bank or card issuer handles the exchange.
Watch the timing as well. Some providers widen their margin at weekends, when currency markets are closed. When there is no deadline, you can set a target rate and let the provider convert only when it is reached. It takes the guesswork out, but there is no guarantee the rate will get there.
Finally, look at how you pay. Paying by credit card can trigger extra charges, while funding by bank transfer tends to keep costs down. Combining several small payments into one larger transfer reduces what you pay in flat fees.
A worked example with 0.5000 ETH
Take a transfer of 0.5000 ETH. Converted at the pure mid-market rate (1,789.43), that sum sets the ceiling for what is possible on the XRP side. In practice nobody hands over that full amount, since the margin and fees are taken out along the way.
Looking at all 20 providers we track, Crypto.com delivered the most: the recipient gets 893.5979 XRP in the end. Whatever is missing compared with the mid-market amount is the real price of the transfer.
Note that a different amount can produce a different winner. Fixed fees weigh heavily on small sums, while a percentage margin grows along with the amount. Try your actual amount in the calculator above for a ranking that fits your situation.
How GoldexPay compares ETH to XRP providers
We start from the live mid-market rate for ETH/XRP. For each provider we apply its published fees and the margin it adds to the rate, and work out how much XRP the recipient would end up with. We do this for 20 providers, so you can see the differences at a glance.
We update the rates every 30 minutes, and the date on the page shows when the data was last updated. Always check the final quote in the provider’s app or website, since markets keep moving.
We are not owned by any provider. Some links on this page are affiliate links. They have no influence on the order: the provider that delivers the most XRP comes first, whether or not we have a link to it.
