The INR/XRP exchange rate explained

The page you are reading tracks the exchange rate between Indian Rupee (INR) and XRP (XRP) and compares it with the cost of an actual conversion at a range of providers. At the latest update on October 30, 2026, 1 INR buys 0.00849298 XRP, and one XRP is worth 117.7443 INR.

The figure at the top is the mid-market rate. It is calculated as the middle of the price at which large banks buy INR and the price at which they sell it. Treat it as the cleanest reference you can get: no fee or margin is built in, which is exactly why few consumer services pass it on unchanged.

The amount that lands in the other account depends on two things: the gap between the provider’s rate and the mid-market rate and the fee you see on the order screen. In the sections below we show how those costs are built up, look at what a conversion costs in practice and list practical steps to lose less on the exchange when you swap Indian Rupee for XRP.

Getting the most XRP for your INR

Look at the final amount, not just the fee. A provider with a low fee can still be expensive because the margin can make up the difference. The fairest figure to compare is the XRP amount after every cost, which combines margin and fee.

At foreign tills and cash machines, a terminal may offer to charge you in your home currency. This is called dynamic currency conversion. It tends to be among the most expensive ways to convert. Choose the local currency so your bank or card issuer handles the exchange.

Timing plays a role too. Some providers widen their margin at weekends, when currency markets are closed. When there is no deadline, a rate alert or limit order lets you convert automatically once INR/XRP reaches a level you choose. It saves you from checking the rate every day, but there is no guarantee the rate will get there.

Also check how you fund the transfer. Paying by credit card can trigger extra charges, and a plain bank transfer is normally the low-cost option. Sending less often but in larger amounts means fixed charges hit you fewer times.

Sample calculation for 100,000.00 INR

Take a conversion of 100,000.00 INR. Converted at the pure mid-market rate (0.00849298), that sum sets the ceiling for what is possible on the XRP side. No service pays out that exact figure, as costs are deducted somewhere in the process.

Across the 1 providers in our comparison, Revolut gave the best result and paid out 836.6433 XRP at the time of our last update. Whatever is missing compared with the mid-market amount shows the true cost, fees and margin combined.

Bear in mind that the cheapest provider for 100,000.00 INR is not automatically the cheapest for every amount. A flat fee hurts most when the amount is small, while the margin in the rate becomes the bigger cost on larger transfers. Try your actual amount in the calculator above and check whether the order changes.

The INR/XRP rate over twelve months

Across the last year, the INR/XRP rate moved by +92.09%. In that period the rate peaked at 0.010529 XRP per INR, and the lowest was 0.00442127. Today’s rate of 0.00849298 can be measured against those two levels.

The spread between the year’s extremes shows how much the rate can move in practice. When you convert a substantial sum, the moment of conversion matters in actual money, even when the fee stays the same.

The rate reflects news, economic data and supply and demand on the market. The statistics here are historical, not a forecast. If you want to act on a certain rate, use an alert or limit order rather than a hunch.

Where the cost of converting INR to XRP hides

The majority of services stay away from the mid-market rate itself. They offer a rate that is a little less favourable and keep the difference. This is known as the spread. With a 2% markup, for instance, you lose roughly 2 INR on every 100 INR, without it ever appearing as a fee.

Next to that markup, most banks charge an explicit fee. This is usually a flat charge per payment, a percentage of the amount or both at once. With international bank payments the receiving or intermediary bank sometimes deducts a charge too, which shrinks the amount that finally arrives.

Look twice at anything sold as commission-free. Free usually means the price is built into the exchange rate. The reliable test is the total amount that arrives in XRP for exactly the same sum, and that is the figure our table ranks on.

What to know about INR/XRP on crypto platforms

With crypto, the price you pay depends heavily on where you trade. On an exchange with an order book, there is a gap between the buy and sell price, the spread, plus a trading fee. Simple broker apps often show one price with the margin already included.

Withdrawing crypto from a platform, you pay a network or withdrawal fee. It is often a fixed amount regardless of the size of the transfer, so for small amounts it can be a large share. Make sure the sending and receiving side use the same network: mistakes here are rarely reversible.

Volatility is much higher than with regular currencies. A displayed price may be fixed only for a few seconds, and big orders can fill at a worse price than shown. Use the rate here as a guide, not as a binding quote.

Think about custody as well. Coins kept on an exchange are held by that exchange, whereas a personal wallet puts the responsibility, and the risk of losing access, on you. Use platforms that are registered with the regulator in your country.

How GoldexPay compares INR to XRP providers

We start from the live mid-market rate for INR/XRP. We then apply each provider’s published fees and exchange rate margin, and work out how much XRP the recipient would end up with. In total 1 providers are included, placed side by side.

We update the rates every 30 minutes, and the date on the page shows when the data was last updated. Always check the final quote in the provider’s app or website, since markets keep moving.

No bank, app or exchange owns GoldexPay. Some of the links are affiliate links, which help fund our work. They have no influence on the order: the provider that delivers the most XRP comes first, whether or not we have a link to it.

Larger transfers: what to check first

Check the provider’s licence first. A regulated provider is registered with a supervisor such as the FCA or your national central bank. Regulation includes rules on keeping your money apart from the company’s own, which protects you if something goes wrong.

Check names and account details twice. Mistakes are rarely fixed quickly with transfers abroad. Unexpected changes to payment details are a classic warning sign. Verify through a channel you trust.

For large amounts, expect extra checks. Have documents ready that show where the money came from, such as a payslip, sale agreement or bank statement. For big amounts it can pay to ask for a better rate. A rate lock, where offered, removes uncertainty while the money is on its way.
