Converting Polish Zloty into Cardano explained
This page follows the rate for Polish Zloty (PLN) and Cardano (ADA) and sets it next to what real providers charge to convert one into the other. As of October 31, 2026, one PLN is worth 1.2995 ADA, and a single ADA comes to 0.769553 PLN.
The rate shown above is the interbank mid rate. It is calculated as the middle of the buying and selling prices on the wholesale market. Treat it as a fair reference point: it contains no profit margin and no fees, so you rarely get it as a private customer.
The amount that lands in the other account is shaped by two separate costs: the margin a provider adds to that rate and the visible transfer or service fee. Below the converter and chart we explain how those costs work, look at what a conversion costs in practice and give concrete ways to keep more of your money when you change PLN into ADA.
Larger transfers: what to check first
Make sure the provider is licensed. Look for authorisation from the FCA in the UK or the financial regulator in your own country. Licensed payment firms must keep customer money separate from their own.
Verify every detail of the recipient. An international payment is hard to reverse once it is sent. Be suspicious if someone urges you to pay quickly or suddenly changes bank details. Call to confirm, using contact details you already had.
Big sums usually trigger extra verification. Have documents ready that show where the money came from, like a statement or a sales contract. Some services offer better rates or a personal contact for larger transfers. Ask whether you can fix the rate in advance.
Exchange rate markup and fees on PLN/ADA
Most providers will not give you the mid-market rate itself. Instead they offer a rate that is a little less favourable and earn on the difference. That gap is called the spread. If the margin is 2%, then about 2 out of every 100 PLN never reach the recipient.
On top of the margin, many providers charge an explicit fee. That can be a flat charge per payment, a share of what you send or both at once. On classic bank transfers abroad the receiving or intermediary bank sometimes deducts a charge too, and those only show up at the end.
Look twice at anything sold as commission-free. In many cases the margin in the rate simply does the work of the fee. The only fair way to compare is the final ADA figure for the same amount of PLN, and the comparison table on this page is ranked on exactly that.
Crypto spreads, network fees and custody
Crypto prices differ from platform to platform. On an exchange with an order book, you deal with a spread between the highest bid and the lowest ask, plus a trading fee. Simple broker apps often show one price with the margin already included.
When you move crypto to or from your own wallet, there is a separate network charge. It is unrelated to how much you move, so for small amounts it can be a large share. Make sure the sending and receiving side use the same network: mistakes here are rarely reversible.
Volatility is much higher than with regular currencies. A displayed price may be fixed only for a few seconds, while large trades risk slippage. The rate on this page is a reference point, not a guaranteed price.
Think about custody as well. On a platform, someone else manages the private keys, whereas self-custody means you alone can access, or lose, the funds. Check that a platform is registered or licensed with a financial regulator where you live.
The PLN/ADA rate over twelve months
Over the past twelve months, the price of PLN in ADA moved by +187.63%. In that period the rate peaked at 1.8519 ADA for one PLN, while the lowest was 0.442793. The current 1.2995 can be measured against those two levels.
The spread between the year’s extremes is a useful reminder of how far the rate can travel. When you convert a substantial sum, timing has a visible effect on the outcome, sometimes more than the choice of provider.
Exchange rates respond to central bank policy, economic data and shifts in risk appetite. The statistics here are historical, not a forecast. If you are waiting for a particular level, it is more practical to set an alert than to guess.
Practical ways to save on PLN/ADA
Look at the final amount, not just the fee. A low headline fee proves nothing when the margin is high. The fairest figure to compare is how much ADA arrives for your PLN, and that already includes both the markup and the fee.
If you pay or withdraw cash in a ADA country, a terminal may offer to charge you in your home currency. This is called dynamic currency conversion. It usually comes with a steep markup. Pick the local currency so your bank or card issuer handles the exchange.
Timing plays a role too. Rates quoted on a Saturday or Sunday can include a weekend surcharge. When there is no deadline, an alert tells you when the rate hits a level you are happy with. That avoids guessing, though the target may never be reached.
Also check how you fund the transfer. Paying by credit card can trigger extra charges, and funding by bank transfer tends to keep costs down. Bundling smaller transfers reduces what you pay in flat fees.
A worked example with 5,000.00 PLN
Consider a conversion of 5,000.00 PLN. At the mid-market rate of 1.2995, you can work out the upper limit of what is possible on the ADA side. No service pays out that exact figure, as costs are deducted somewhere in the process.
Of the 2 providers we compared, Revolut delivered the most: the recipient gets 6,400.47 ADA in the end. Whatever is missing compared with the mid-market amount is the real price of the transfer.
Bear in mind that rankings shift with the amount you send. A flat fee hurts most when the amount is small, while the margin in the rate becomes the bigger cost on larger transfers. Run your own figure through the converter for a ranking that fits your situation.
About this comparison
Our starting point is the current mid-market rate. Each provider’s published fee and markup are applied on top, which gives the amount the recipient receives. The comparison covers 2 providers, ranked from most to least received.
We update the rates every 30 minutes, and the date on the page shows when the data was last updated. The final price is always set by the provider itself, because their rate can move between our updates, especially when markets are busy.
No bank, app or exchange owns GoldexPay. Some of the links are affiliate links. They have no influence on the order: the provider that delivers the most ADA comes first, whether or not we have a link to it.
