The BTC/BNB exchange rate: what you are looking at
This page tracks the rate for Bitcoin (BTC) and BNB (BNB) and compares it with the prices that banks, money apps and exchanges actually ask. As of October 31, 2026, 1 BTC buys 110.0044 BNB, and a single BNB comes to 0.00909054 BTC.
The figure at the top is the mid-market rate, sometimes called the interbank rate. It sits exactly halfway between the price at which large banks buy BTC and the price at which they sell it. Think of it as a neutral benchmark: no fee or margin is built in, so consumers almost never receive it in full.
What you actually receive is shaped by two separate costs: the margin a provider adds to that rate and the fee you see on the order screen. Further down we take those costs apart, put them side by side and give concrete ways to get closer to the mid-market rate when you swap Bitcoin for BNB.
Paying less when you change BTC into BNB
Compare the total cost, not the fee alone. A low headline fee proves nothing when the margin is high. The number that matters is the amount received, which combines the markup and the fee.
When you pay by card abroad, you can get a choice between your own currency and the local one. This is called dynamic currency conversion. It usually comes with a steep markup. Always opt to pay in the local currency so your bank or card issuer handles the exchange.
Watch the timing as well. At weekends, with the wholesale market shut, some services add an extra buffer to the rate. For transfers that can wait, a rate alert or limit order lets you convert automatically once BTC/BNB reaches a level you choose. It saves you from checking the rate every day, though there is no guarantee the rate will get there.
Also check how you fund the transfer. Card payments often cost more than a bank transfer, and a plain bank transfer is normally the low-cost option. Combining several small payments into one larger transfer also cuts the impact of fixed fees.
What 0.0100 BTC gets you in BNB
Let’s use a conversion of 0.0100 BTC. Using the reference rate of 110.0044, that marks the theoretical maximum of what the recipient could get. In practice nobody hands over that full amount, because margins and fees come off first.
Of the 15 providers we compared, Crypto.com gave the best result: the recipient gets 1.0987 BNB at the time of our last update. The gap between 1.0987 BNB and the theoretical maximum shows the true cost, fees and margin combined.
Note that rankings shift with the amount you send. Fixed fees weigh heavily on small sums, whereas a percentage margin grows along with the amount. Enter your own amount in the converter for a ranking that fits your situation.
What banks and apps really charge for BTC to BNB
Most providers do not convert at the rate of 110.0044 as such. Instead they shift the rate in their own favour and keep the difference. This is known as the markup. With a 2% markup, for instance, for every 100 BTC you convert, about 2 BTC worth disappears before the money arrives.
Besides the hidden margin, many providers ask for a separate fee. That can be a fixed amount per transfer, a percentage of the amount or both at once. For transfers sent through the banking network the receiving or intermediary bank sometimes deducts a charge too, so the recipient gets less than you expected.
Be wary of anything sold as commission-free. The cost often sits in the rate instead. The only fair way to compare is how much BNB the recipient ends up with for exactly the same sum, and the comparison table on this page is ranked on exactly that.
About this comparison
We start from the live mid-market rate for BTC/BNB. We then apply each provider’s published fees and exchange rate margin, and work out how much BNB the recipient would end up with. In total 15 providers are included, placed side by side.
Rates are refreshed every 30 minutes, and the date on the page shows when the data was last updated. Always check the final quote in the provider’s app or website, since markets keep moving.
GoldexPay is independent. We may earn a commission through some links. The order is never affected by them: the only ranking criterion is the amount received.
Staying safe with bigger BTC to BNB transfers
Make sure the provider is licensed. Look for authorisation from the FCA in the UK or the financial regulator in your own country. Regulation includes rules on keeping your money apart from the company’s own, which protects you if something goes wrong.
Double-check the recipient details before you confirm. Once money has left, getting it back is difficult. Be suspicious if someone urges you to pay quickly or suddenly changes bank details. Verify through a channel you trust.
For large amounts, expect extra checks. Providers may ask for proof of where the money comes from, such as a payslip, sale agreement or bank statement. Some services offer better rates or a personal contact for larger transfers. Some also let you lock in a rate for a short period.
Crypto spreads, network fees and custody
Crypto prices differ from platform to platform. On a trading platform, you deal with a spread between the highest bid and the lowest ask, on top of a maker or taker fee. Easy buy buttons in apps usually quote a single price with the margin already included.
If you withdraw coins to a wallet, there is a separate network charge. It is unrelated to how much you move, so for small amounts it can be a large share. Make sure the sending and receiving side use the same network: a mismatch can mean the funds never arrive.
Volatility is much higher than with regular currencies. A displayed price may be fixed only for a few seconds, while large trades risk slippage. Treat the figure above as an indication.
Think about custody as well. On a platform, someone else manages the private keys, while in your own wallet you are fully responsible for the keys. Check that a platform is registered or licensed with a financial regulator where you live.
Recent movement in the BTC/BNB rate
Compared with a year ago, the exchange rate shows a change of +9.36%. Within those twelve months the highest level was 128.3290 BNB per BTC, and the low point came in at 97.5552. The current 110.0044 is easy to place within that band.
The distance between the high and the low is a useful reminder of how far the rate can travel. For a bigger amount, the moment of conversion matters in actual money, sometimes more than the choice of provider.
Exchange rates respond to news, economic data and supply and demand on the market. These figures describe the past and say nothing about what comes next. If you want to act on a certain rate, a rate alert is a calmer option than trying to predict the market.
