Bitcoin to Singapore Dollar at a glance
The page you are reading brings together the price relationship between Bitcoin (BTC) and Singapore Dollar (SGD) and compares it with the cost of an actual conversion at a range of providers. On October 30, 2026, 1 BTC equals 97,995.57 SGD, and one SGD is worth 0.0000102045 BTC.
The rate shown above is the mid-market rate. It is calculated as the middle of the buying and selling prices on the wholesale market. It works as a fair reference point: no fee or margin is built in, which is exactly why consumers almost never receive it in full.
The amount that lands in the other account comes down to two things: the gap between the provider’s rate and the mid-market rate and any fixed or percentage fee. Below the converter and chart we show how those costs are built up, show how they add up on a real amount and give concrete ways to get closer to the mid-market rate when you change BTC into SGD.
Where the cost of converting BTC to SGD hides
Most providers do not convert at the rate of 97,995.57 as such. Instead they offer a rate that is a little less favourable and keep the difference. That gap is called the exchange rate margin. A markup of 2%, for example, means that you lose roughly 2 BTC on every 100 BTC, without it ever appearing as a fee.
On top of the margin, most banks add a visible fee. This is usually a flat charge per payment, a percentage of the amount or a mix of both. For transfers sent through the banking network other banks along the route may take their own cut, and those only show up at the end.
Take a close look at anything sold as commission-free. Free usually means the price is built into the exchange rate. What really counts is how much SGD the recipient ends up with for exactly the same sum, which is how the table above is sorted.
How GoldexPay compares BTC to SGD providers
Our starting point is the current mid-market rate. We then apply each provider’s published fees and exchange rate margin, and work out how much SGD the recipient would end up with. We do this for 1 providers, so you can see the differences at a glance.
Rates are refreshed every 30 minutes, with October 30, 2026 as the reference date. Always check the final quote in the provider’s app or website, because their rate can move between our updates, especially when markets are busy.
GoldexPay is independent. Some links on this page are affiliate links, which help pay for the site. They have no influence on the order: providers are sorted purely by how much SGD the recipient gets.
Converting BTC to SGD as a crypto pair
Crypto prices differ from platform to platform. On a trading platform, there is a gap between the buy and sell price, the spread, and a commission per trade. Easy buy buttons in apps usually quote a single price which hides a wider spread.
Withdrawing crypto from a platform, a network fee applies. That fee does not depend on the amount, so for small amounts it can be a large share. Make sure the sending and receiving side use the same network: coins sent over the wrong network can be lost.
The price of a crypto asset can swing hard in a short time. Quoted prices tend to expire quickly, and big orders can fill at a worse price than shown. Use the rate here as a guide, not as a binding quote.
Custody is another point to consider. If you leave crypto on a platform, the platform controls it, while self-custody means you alone can access, or lose, the funds. Look for registration with a financial supervisor before you deposit.
Larger transfers: what to check first
Check the provider’s licence first. In the UK that means authorisation by the FCA, elsewhere a central bank or financial supervisor. Licensed payment firms must keep customer money separate from their own.
Check names and account details twice. Mistakes are rarely fixed quickly with transfers abroad. Be suspicious if someone urges you to pay quickly or suddenly changes bank details. Call to confirm, using contact details you already had.
Larger transfers often come with additional questions. Providers may ask for proof of where the money comes from, for example a contract of sale or an account statement. For big amounts it can pay to ask for a better rate. Ask whether you can fix the rate in advance.
Bitcoin against Singapore Dollar: the last twelve months
Compared with a year ago, the exchange rate moved by -31.61%. Within those twelve months the top of the range was 144,078.60 SGD for one BTC, while the bottom of the range was 75,903.77. The current 97,995.57 can be measured against those two levels.
The distance between the high and the low shows how much the rate can move in practice. When you convert a substantial sum, the moment of conversion matters in actual money, sometimes more than the choice of provider.
The rate reflects interest rate decisions, inflation figures, trade flows and general market sentiment. The statistics here are historical, not a forecast. If you are waiting for a particular level, a rate alert is a calmer option than trying to predict the market.
What 0.0100 BTC gets you in SGD
Consider a transfer of 0.0100 BTC. At the mid-market rate of 97,995.57, that sum sets the ceiling for what the recipient could get. In practice nobody hands over that full amount, as costs are deducted somewhere in the process.
Across the 1 providers in our comparison, Revolut delivered the most, with 965.35 SGD at the time of our last update. The difference between that figure and the mid-market amount shows the true cost, fees and margin combined.
Bear in mind that a different amount can produce a different winner. Fixed fees weigh heavily on small sums, whereas a percentage margin grows along with the amount. Enter your own amount in the converter to see the ranking that applies to you.
Practical ways to save on BTC/SGD
Judge on what arrives, not on what is advertised. A small fee on its own says little if the rate is poor. The number that matters is the amount received, which combines the markup and the fee.
If you pay or withdraw cash in a SGD country, you can get a choice between your own currency and the local one. That option is known as dynamic currency conversion, or DCC. It tends to be among the most expensive ways to convert. Always opt to pay in the local currency and let your own card provider do the conversion.
Timing can also matter. Some providers widen their margin at weekends, when currency markets are closed. When there is no deadline, an alert tells you when the rate hits a level you are happy with. It takes the guesswork out, though there is no guarantee the rate will get there.
Also check how you fund the transfer. Card payments often cost more than a bank transfer, while a plain bank transfer is normally the low-cost option. Sending less often but in larger amounts means fixed charges hit you fewer times.
