ETH to DKK: rate, costs and context
The page you are reading follows the rate for Ethereum (ETH) and Danish Krone (DKK) and sets it next to what real providers charge to convert one into the other. As of October 31, 2026, 1 ETH equals 15,008.53 DKK, while 1 DKK equals 0.0000666288 ETH.
The figure at the top is the mid-market rate, sometimes called the interbank rate. It is calculated as the middle of the price at which large banks buy ETH and the price at which they sell it. It works as the cleanest reference you can get: it contains no profit margin and no fees, so you rarely get it as a private customer.
What ends up on the DKK side is shaped by two things: a markup hidden in the exchange rate and the visible transfer or service fee. Further down we explain how those costs work, put them side by side and list practical steps to lose less on the exchange when you swap Ethereum for Danish Krone.
Why we compare total cost
Our starting point is the current mid-market rate. For each provider we apply its published fees and the margin it adds to the rate, which gives the amount the recipient receives. We do this for 1 providers, so you can see the differences at a glance.
We update the rates every 30 minutes, with October 31, 2026 as the reference date. The final price is always set by the provider itself, and it can differ slightly from our calculation, especially when markets are busy.
We are not owned by any provider. Some links on this page are affiliate links, which help fund our work. That never changes the ranking: the provider that delivers the most DKK comes first, whether or not we have a link to it.
Ethereum against Danish Krone: the last twelve months
Compared with a year ago, the exchange rate moved by -38.91%. In that period the highest level was 25,329.38 DKK for one ETH, while the lowest was 10,117.91. Today’s rate of 15,008.53 can be measured against those two levels.
That range between high and low is a useful reminder of how far the rate can travel. For a bigger amount, the moment you choose can make a noticeable difference to what arrives, sometimes more than the choice of provider.
The rate reflects interest rate decisions, inflation figures, trade flows and general market sentiment. We show the figures as they are and do not make predictions. If you want to act on a certain rate, a rate alert is a calmer option than trying to predict the market.
Example: converting 0.5000 ETH
Take a conversion of 0.5000 ETH. Converted at the pure mid-market rate (15,008.53), that marks the theoretical maximum of what the recipient could get. No service pays out that exact figure, since the margin and fees are taken out along the way.
Across the 1 providers in our comparison, Revolut came out cheapest for this amount and paid out 7,392.45 DKK after all costs. The difference between that figure and the mid-market amount is the real price of the transfer.
Bear in mind that a different amount can produce a different winner. A flat fee hurts most when the amount is small, while a percentage margin grows along with the amount. Enter your own amount in the converter for a ranking that fits your situation.
How providers price ETH to DKK
The majority of services stay away from the rate of 15,008.53 itself. Instead they offer a rate that is a little less favourable and keep the difference. This is known as the exchange rate margin. If the margin is 2%, then for every 100 ETH you convert, about 2 ETH worth disappears before the money arrives.
On top of the margin, a lot of services add a visible fee. It may be a fixed amount per transfer, a share of what you send or a mix of both. With international bank payments the receiving or intermediary bank sometimes deducts a charge too, so the recipient gets less than you expected.
Look twice at offers that say "no fees" or "0% commission". In many cases the margin in the rate simply does the work of the fee. The reliable test is how much DKK the recipient ends up with for an identical ETH amount, which is how the table above is sorted.
Crypto spreads, network fees and custody
With crypto, the price you pay depends heavily on where you trade. On a trading platform, there is a gap between the buy and sell price, the spread, and a commission per trade. Easy buy buttons in apps usually quote a single price which hides a wider spread.
Withdrawing crypto from a platform, you pay a network or withdrawal fee. It is often a fixed amount regardless of the size of the transfer, so for small amounts it can be a large share. Always check which network a platform uses: mistakes here are rarely reversible.
Volatility is much higher than with regular currencies. A quote is often only valid for a short moment, while large trades risk slippage. Use the rate here as a guide, not as a binding quote.
Think about custody as well. Coins kept on an exchange are held by that exchange, whereas a personal wallet puts the responsibility, and the risk of losing access, on you. Check that a platform is registered or licensed with a financial regulator where you live.
Larger transfers: what to check first
Only use providers that are regulated. In the UK that means authorisation by the FCA, elsewhere a central bank or financial supervisor. Licensed payment firms must keep customer money separate from their own, which protects you if something goes wrong.
Double-check the recipient details before you confirm. An international payment is hard to reverse once it is sent. Be suspicious if someone urges you to pay quickly or suddenly changes bank details: confirm by phone using a number you already know.
Big sums usually trigger extra verification. Have documents ready that show where the money came from, for example a contract of sale or an account statement. For big amounts it can pay to ask for a better rate. Some also let you lock in a rate for a short period.
How to get a better ETH to DKK rate
Look at the final amount, not just the fee. A provider with a low fee can still be expensive because the margin can make up the difference. The number that matters is how much DKK arrives for your ETH, which combines margin and fee.
At foreign tills and cash machines, a terminal may offer to charge you in your home currency. This is called dynamic currency conversion. The rate used is usually poor. Pick the local currency and let your own card provider do the conversion.
Watch the timing as well. Rates quoted on a Saturday or Sunday can include a weekend surcharge. If you are not in a hurry, you can set a target rate and let the provider convert only when it is reached. It saves you from checking the rate every day, but there is no guarantee the rate will get there.
Also check how you fund the transfer. A credit card may be treated as a cash advance by your card issuer, while a plain bank transfer is normally the low-cost option. Sending less often but in larger amounts also cuts the impact of fixed fees.
